When I double-click on a log file’s icon in the Finder, MultiTimer Pro opens that log window, but it doesn’t set the module name shown in the main window. I still have to use the popup menu to select the correct module before I can start the timer.
Answer:
That’s not the correct way to select a module in MultiTimer Pro. Double-clicking a log file performs the equivalent to selecting “Open Other Module’s Log” under MultiTimer Pro’s File menu.
Problem/Question:
Mouse clicks in the floating window seem to be ignored sometimes.
Answer:
You need to install the extension “TSM Fix” on your system. This extension is included with MultiTimer Pro; drag it to the Extensions folder in your System folder and restart. If TSM Fix is not installed, the floating window will usually respond promptly to clicks when some applications are in front, but not work well when others are in front. Depending on the speed of your Mac and which application is in front, the floating window may still be a bit slow to respond with TSM Fix installed.

I’m looking at a wide log window, but I don’t see any of the categories I defined.
Answer:
Make sure that the “Show Sessions” checkbox is checked, and “Show Expenses” too, if you are tracking expenses.
Problem/Question:
I almost always want my logs set up with the same categories and/or the same hourly rate and/or the same layout settings. Can I avoid having to set up each new log whenever I create a new module?

I would like to be able to run two or more timers at once. Will this capability be in a future version of MultiTimer Pro?

Yes. I plan on adding that capability very soon.

I know someone who might want to use MultiTimer Pro. May I give him a copy of the program to try out? Do I have to “unregister” the copy before I give it away?
Answer:
You are welcome to share copies of MultiTimer Pro with anyone who might be interested in it. However, to make sure such persons get the complete package, you might want to direct them to the MultiTimer Pro Web site (http://users.aol.com/karlbunker/), where they can download it for themselves. If you do give away a copy of your own copy of MultiTimer Pro, you don’t have to unregister it. The registration information is removed when the program is moved to another computer.
